I’ve been air fryer happy lately, but if you know me by now, I can’t just make the norm and always push my limits to see what fun creative (and healthy) food I can create!
I also thought to give a little pumpkin break for those palates since it’s now getting into fall and the plump orange squash is everywhere (I love me some pumpkin but it can get a little overwhelming and I’m already pumpkined out before Thanksgiving if I don’t pace myself!
Tapple fries are infused with all things CBD! I used Biovelle organic CBD coconut oil (10% off: lilsipper) and Cured Nutrition Cinnamon Honey CBD spice (10% off: lilsipper). And to keep it 100% grain and gluten free, Otto’s Cassava Flour came in handy! So come and chill before the winter comes and enjoy this Flavorful Fall Favorite in a whole new way!
Apple Fries Ingredients:
2 apples, sliced and peeled
Biovelle CBD coconut oil (no exact measurements – 10% off: lilsipper)
1/4 – 1/2 cup Otto’s Cassava Flour
2-4 tsp Cured Nutrition Cinnamon Honey CBD spice (10% off: lilsipper)
Directions:
1. Melt coconut oil and lightly / eveny brush over apples.
2. Mix Otto’s Cassava Flour and spices in a large bowl then add apples and toss to coat.
3. Place apples in air fryer, leaving air in-between each so they don’t crowd each other. “Fry” for 20 minutes at 400 degrees F.
CBD Cinnamon Honey CBD Dip:
1/2 cup Nancy’s Grass-Fed Whole Milk Yogurt
2 Tbsp organic Sunbutter
1-2 tsp Cured Nutrition Cinnamon Honey CBD spice (10% off: lilsipper)
could you use normal flour if you don’t have cassava flour?
Feel free to try and let me know how it goes 🙂
they didn’t crisp on the outside as well as yours but still delicious! taste like apple pie. maybe if I tried an egg coat first and then the flour it would work better. I’ll have to experiment. thanks for the idea!
