Avocado = good. Kale = good. Chips = good. AVOCADO KALE CHIPS = flippin’ bomb!
I’ve had this idea in my head forever and finally I decided (AKA: made time) to make them! Ugh, I wish I had executed this sooner because what’s better than eating avocado in chip form?!
And you know I had to add Vital Proteins Collagen for added gut health benefits as well as extra protein! (you can’t even taste it!)
Ingredients:
1 1/2 small avocados
1/2 Tbsp Fire Cider (code: lilsipper)
1 scoop Vital Proteins collagen
1/2 tsp sea salt
4 cups chopped kale
Directions:
1. Puree all ingredients (except kale) in a small blender until smooth and creamy.
2. In a large bowl, mix avocado puree with kale and massage puree all over kale.
3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and spread out kale on sheet (try not to let them touch each other).
4. Bake at 250 F for 15-20 minutes. Watch carefully as they can burn quickly. Consume immediately!
NOTE: I’ve tried this in my air fryer also and the oven works best as the air fryer burns them. These bad boyz need to be baked low and slow.
I didn’t have fire cider.. but dude. These are the best kale chips I’ve ever made… midnight snack craving satisfied.
Hahaha glad you enjoyed them Aubrey! ๐
Okay, so this recipe is completely amazing! I am trying this this weekend! No doubt. But what makes this even better is that you have a ‘Friends’ reference to open up the blog post – remember when Joey is eating Rachel’s trifle?? Well done, my friend, well done!
lol you caught that? ๐
Of course I did! Glad to know that you are a Friends fan!!
Yum!! Would a dehydrator work as well?
I haven’t tried it but feel free to and report back how it goes!
