Ingredients:
4 eggs
1 tsp baking soda
1/4 cup Evo Hemp protein (20% off: lilsipper)
1/2 cup Santa Barbara Chocolate’s Red Cacao Powder (15% off: lilsipper15)
*Option to add 1-2 Tbsp honey for sweetness (but I didn’t)
Topping: Santa Barbara Chocolate’s 100% pure unsweetened discs (15% off: lilsipper15)
Directions:
1. Whisk everything together and pour batter into a small lined/greased baking dish or bread loaf pan.
- Bake at 350 F for about 25 minutes. Let cool before adding topping.
-
Melt chocolate and pour over uncut brownies. Allow chocolate to harden.
*I left my brownies out in room temp for about 3 hours so the chocolate wouldn’t get rock hard, but you can place them in the fridge to speed up the process.
*Store in fridge after slicing into squares.
Hi! I have hemp seeds can I use those is ground up?
Hi Sofia,
Sorry, the protein is different so you need the protein powder.
Yum!!! I can’t wait to make this very soon, looks amazing! Have you ever thought of making “healthified” donuts? I usually am not a donut person but I’ve been craving them … And you are the only person I know who could manage to make donuts healthy and tasty! Thanks for all your great recipes!
I hope you enjoy them!!! And yes, I have tons of healthy donut recipes on my Instagram. I hope you take a look 🙂
Any idea how to substitute Santa Barbara chocolate for the cacao powder?
any will do, but I just like the taste of the red cocoa (super rich!)
