The following is a list of foods and nutrients that may naturally get rid of parasites as well as a MUST MAKE smoothie to help you in the cleansing process!
Sunflower seeds
Can help flush out parasites by preventing successful germination of the parasite to the host system.
Raw Pumpkin Seeds
Raw pumpkin seeds contain a natural fat that is toxic to parasite eggs! WHAT?! Cucurbitacin in pumpkin seeds has been shown anti-parasitic activity, since it has the ability to paralyze worms so they drop off the intestinal walls. Kinda gross but cool at the same time, right? In this study Chinese scientists used pumpkin seeds to treat acute schistosomiasis and tapeworm infestations using formulas containing pumpkin seeds. But don’t think a few seed will do the job, apparently you need half a cup at a time to really work….but it works nonetheless.
Coconut
The compounds in coconut oil can reduce parasites and help promote a healthy weight.
Papaya seeds
These seeds have anthelmintic and anti-amoebic activities, and have shown to be very effective in treating human parasites.
Garlic
Garlic has been used for many medicinal remedies, including parasite reduction in humans.
Oil of Oregano
A substance called Carvacrol is found in many herbs, however it has its highest concentration in oregano.
Carvacrol is thought to work by destroying the cell membranes of bacteria and even stop them at their tracks from multiplying and can reduce parasite growth!
Black Walnut
Per the Pharmaceutical Society of Australia, black walnut is effective against ringworm, tapeworm, pin or thread worm, and other parasites of the intestine! Crazy!
Wormwood
Just how powerful is wormwood? Well, did you know it’s one of the main sources and a key ingredient for the herbal drug artemisinin, which is the most powerful antimalarial on the market!
This study shows that wormwood can even kills cancer cells! They said it – not me!
Below is a smoothie recipe that’s low in carbs and sugar (what parasites thrive on) and filled with probiotics (from the cultured cottage cheese) as well as additional anti-parasitic nutrients to help fight off those pesky things and bring you back to health! You don’t have to suffer and sacrifice enjoying your food while cleansing!
Ingredients
1/2 cup cultured probiotic cottage cheese
1 tsp coconut oil
1/4 cup raw pumpkin seeds
1 Tbsp organic Sunbutter
1 cup frozen cauliflower, pre-steamed
1 cup frozen squash (delicata, butternut, or kabocha), pre-roasted

Blend above then stir in 1 Tbsp Santa Barbara Chocolate’s red cacao powder (15% off: lilsipper15) and that green powder you see in the center is 1 Tbsp of Evo Hemp Pro-90 protein (20% off: lilsipper) for an extra boost of protein and a little “pop”! @lilsipper
Hi-In your ingredients, Santa Barbara Chocolate’s red cacao powder is listed, however, the link takes you to Cocoa Powder. I do not see any Cacao Powder on their website…?
Thanks!
Here in Central Illinois, we don’t have access to stores that sell Nancy’s Yogurt, and it’s billions of probiotics. Aside from moving, do you have any suggestions on how to find a comparable brand? Or any mail order ideas? Or ideas on particular brand of probiotics to add to cottage cheese that I make myself? Inspired by you, I looked at the ingredient list of my Prairie Farms cottage cheese I’ve been eating my entire life. I was appalled!! The closest Whole Foods or Trader Joe’s is 3 hours away from us. The closest Sprouts is 6 hours away. It’s a struggle sometimes when trying to eat clean and fresh. So thankful for online ordering! Thank you for sharing your knowledge and experiences!
