Hot Cocoa Squares that fight inflammation & infections?! Gut health is on fleek yo…Just one of the MANY gut healing recipes using Further Food grass-fed gelatin. I use it almost everything and can’t stop!
Ingredients:
2 cups almond milk
1/2 cup unsweetened cacao powder (15% off: lilsipper15)
3 Tbsp grass-fed ghee (or coconut oil)
3 Tbsp honey or maple syrup
1/2 tsp Himalayan sea salt
1/2 tsp vanilla (optional)
3 Tbsp Further Food grass-fed gelatin (essential for the recipe + gut healing benefits!)
Directions:
1. Grease a small glass baking dish with coconut oil or line with parchment paper for easy removal and set aside.

Heat almond milk in a saucepan over medium heat until you see steam (just before it starts to boil) then carefully pour it into your blender (I used my Vitamix).

Add all remaining ingredients except gelatin to your blender and blend on high (lid on) for a few seconds until all is mixed.

Turn blender on the lowest speed, remove lid and add gelatin. Place lid back on and blend on high for 5 seconds.

Pour hot cocoa into prepared dish and refrigerate overnight or until it sets.

Cut into squares or desired shapes and snack away! You can also pop them into hot liquid, stir, and make an instant hot beverage!
